10-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I was riding my bike without wearing helmet. The cop tried to stop me but I didn't.Later my bike was taken into custody and a case was filed under section 279. The police officer said I will be getting summons from court which I need to attend and pay the fine. I need to know whether these are the procedures,or is there anything more.
