Are there in chances to compromise over a forgery case

A case of forgery in 2013 brother sell a land of his uncle to other person by forgery and a case file against brother and charges are 420.419. 467.471.and jail for 5 months and now he is out on bail till date .I want to know in this case what is chance of compromise or any possibilities.
A police case cannot be withdrawn in any stage by the parties of the case. As the offences u/s 143, 147 18,149 are there the case cannot be compounded by the parties. . Either you can approach the trail court for expediting trail submitting that the matter is settled out of court or you can approach the High court through a petition u/s 482 Cr PC for quashing the case on the basis of the settlement arrived with an affidavit of the complainant in the case. Apart from this you can approach the Government for withdrawing the case. But it is up to the court to give permission for withdrawal..
