You can approach the police station and get register an FIR against him. If the police do not register the case, you can approach the superintendent of police or directly approach the court.

Hi,Are you claiming morphed photos of you are being circulated over social media?. You can file police complaint under criminal conspiracy and information technology act Sec.66A,66E ...etc with cyber crime police. you may approach local lawyer for more info.

Question: How can I file an FIR against a man who is sending me threatening messages through sms, hike, gmail, linkedin (making fake profile). That he found some inappropriate photos and already circulated among school frnds. He is asking for money otherwise will send photos to my home and other family members. He also claimed in messages that these photos are shared by me on imo chat app. But according to me I never had any inappropriate photos of mine, neither I used imo app nor I have myself send such photos of mine to others


ANS: Immediately file a police complaint and disclose these facts to your mother so that they are not taken by surprise. now a days photos are morphed with some other photos

contact the cyber crime officials with all ur documental proofs which you have received by him and file a complaint against him immediately police will take action against him ,, as u stated that mess from whats up , hike , mails it ll be very usefull to contact cyber police .... if u want anymore info contact me ill help u

Don't get panic. Take the print out of emails sent by him with his email I.D and lodge a complaint at CYBER POLICE STATION if you are staying in Bengaluru you can find Cyber Police Station back side to Vidhana Soudha if in any other place inquire with your near jurisdictional police station and file one complaint there also for blackmailing but as it is it through social network in internet the CYBER POLICE are appropriate to trace it out.
