Registration of Educational Consultancy Firm how to proceed

Sir, I wish to register my Educational Consultancy firm which will work a Guidance centre. Kindly suggest how to register it? Also, clarify whether, I can run such firm along with my Teaching Job (I am working on contract / AdHoc basis at a college)

To answer your second question- you may go ahead with this plan. However, we strongly recommend that you get your employment contract reviewed. We need to assess if your existing contract with the college that you are working with permits or specifically bars you from doing anything.
With respect to your first question- please note that the registration process will depend on whether you want to register your firm as a Limited Liability Partnership,sole-proprietorship etc. Depending on your need we can assist you with compliance qua registration (including registration under Shops and Establishments Act), real estate (drafting and reviewing of lease deed etc), service tax etc. The process is fairly simple.

You need to decide whether you want to register it as a Partnership/Pvt. Ltd Company or Limited Liability Partnership- only these forms of companies need registration.
Each of the above have their own registration process which will include the formation agreement and other certifications. Once you decide which one suits your needs the registration process along with documentation can be commenced.
You can start such a venture along side your teaching job provided the contract does not prohibit you from doing any other business or employment and you inform your employer about your intention and he/she does not object it.
