How to protest and make noise, against a corporate policy in my office

20-Sep-2023 (In Corporate Law)
Hi, I am Anindya Mukherjee, I am 26 years old and I live in Bally, Howrah, West Bengal. I work in a service based MNC (Cognizant Technology Solutions). I am good at my job and I like what I do. But there are few things that hurts me as an individual working blindly and agreeing to different policies these companies bring in every year in the form "role development programmes". Getting straight to my point, there are a few things that I dislike in the company I work in currently. There is a exam that we have to take based on "acceptable use policy", where it says even the works we do for learning and practise all belongs to work, and nothing is mine. These are not the works of any client based projects or company based works. Even any learning or practise notes belongs to the company itself. I personally don't agree to that, I believe there are many such people who don't read these and doesn't voice their opinion, how do I protest against any such policy and make a noise. Thanks.

For your level of employment, unless you are associated with the policy making process,it would be better if you concentrate yourself in your assigned Jobs.As per the Companies Act, Board of Directors (Key managerial persons) are legally responsible for framing policy decisions of the company. If such policies are not up to your liking, you are free to change your employment.
However , if employee's grievance redressal mechanism is in place in your current place of employment, you can avail the opportunity to ventilate your grievances for redressal by the designated authorities.
