This is less of a query and more of a point to discuss. Since u have chosen not to post a specific query, m constrained to answer in general terms. As to strictness of any law, my friend i would like to say law is law and has to be abided. If u r on the implementation part of the anti competition law, it would be unfair to say that u may take the implementing machinery on a ride by breaking laws. U r advised to go through the terms of ur contract and take alprorlpriate decision aa to whether the terms of ur contract permit u to switch ur job. If terms doesnt really allow u doing that nd u still feel like doing it, u will have to have a detailed opinion based on specific and precised facts.
