How can i find the number of shares by each director

I am a director in a pvt. ltd. company where i hold 49% shares , the company Managing director is adding new directors without my permission. How can i find the number of shares by each directors and what can i do inquire about company details as MD is not giving me this information.
The Articles usually prescribe the manner of appointment of any or all the Directors. In case the Articles are silent, the Directors must be appointed by the shareholders. Any appointment without the consent and adequate representation of the SHs would be deemed null and void. Also you have the right to remove a director through an ordinary resolution and this right cannot be damaged by any MOA, AOA or agreement in contrary. Having said so you can directly send a notice and ask for the information from the MD, based on the reply you may take necessary action. Also if effective already you can find out from the MCA records and ROC

Issue a notice to him by asking the reasons about why he is not disclosing the details go through the duties and responsibilities which directors have to discharge towards the company and other directors which is binding on him and ask for the reasons even in board meeting or take legal action by consulting your legal adviser.
