Eligibility for Govt. tenders if company changed to pvt. ltd

23-Jun-2023 (In Corporate Law)
I have 5+ year old proprietorship firm. I have incorporated a pvt ltd company in 2015 to expand the business. Later, proprietorship firm takeover by new Private Limited Company this Mar 17 and same is filed at RoC in May 17. But, we forgot to add the same objective in initial set of objectives in MoA at the time of incorporation. However, we met the objective and recently amended the MoA. Meanwhile, I have submitted a bid where a company require 3 years of exp/turnover. I have submitted one Pvt Lit, 2 proprietorship returns. I am the sole proprietor and Major shareholder Director in Ltd company. I have not received any benefits or consideration from the new company directly or indirectly other than share allotment. Please let me know an openion on my eligibility for any govt tenders whether my past exp./turnovers be considered or not?. I am the only person running the business previously and now in Ltd company.

Hello Sir, I am a qualified company secretary and LLB Graduate, practising as an Advocate. As per my knowledge your past exp. will not take into consideration. Your company experience will be countable from the date of Incorporation not from the date of proprietorship.

Dear client,
For getting benefits the company`s turnover must be for the last three years and proprietor`s turnover will not be taken into consideration. Hence, you must show company`s turnover for the last three years.
