Company terminating employment because my sector is shutting down

Hi, Iam currently working in startup company name:little internet pvt ltd. Its been 4 months iam working for this company and now due to company is closing its 1 of the project ie-marketing and terminating my employment and I just got the letter of appointment 20 days back. Can they do something plus I just started working working and I dont know anything about this. Please tell me what can I demand or what I can't. And how can I ask for switching my job profile from marketing to sales. As its just Been 4 months what will I tell my future interviewer.
Termination should follow retrenchment process for all employees in your unit. Notice and retrenchment compensation is applicable to all employees terminated in your organization other than dismissal for misconduct. In your case, your employment is less than a year hence you are entitled to notice pay of 15days under shops and establishments act (please refer state amendment to which your company establishment belongs). If there are more than 100 employees than last employee shall be retrenched first and in LIFO method to be adopted. Every notice should have reason for termination. Notice of retrenchment has to be served to appropriate government authority as well as put on notice board of the establishment.
With respect to reason to future employers is concern, you have to tell him the truth, because this is not a dismal case to put stigma on you.

need to issue you one month notice and payment of one month salary or as mentioned in your appointment letter. if not paid and issued notice of one moth or as mentioned moths in your appointment letter. then you may issue legal notice to Company
