Can my previous company file case against me for soliciting client

Is that possible, that the prious employer can raise the case again me after releving from them. They are saying that i am using the same client with the new company also. But the new comaony allready working with the same client. Our industry is US recruting so kindly share some thought about this.. Will they raise the case agian me?

Yes. Its possible.
But you can come out of it by keep all the communication between you and your ex-employer documented. And send an detailed reply providing the details of the client since when he is working with your current employer. Be very specific stating that you have not solicited their client but the client has been working under many.

Have you signed any agreement with your previous employer anything like NDA? or any other agreement regarding poaching clients etc..?

What was your role defined in your previous organizatioin?
