i started a blog. i want to know about copyright. is it necessary to register a blog name and logo. if yes what is process and what i need. i want to know about the image copyright as well. if i edit google image then i can use it on my site.
Its not necessary to register the blog name or logo. However it is always advised to do so for safeguarding against any infringements.
You can get the name & logo Copyrighted as well as a Trademark over them by filing relevant application & fees at the Copyright & Trademark offices respectively.
Images taken from google might be copyrighted by someone & you need to verify its source before using them.

My answer the first part of your is yes - you have to get your domain name registered. There are various websites you can find online who will get this done for you. Photoshopped images are known as "derivative" works. It would therefore depend on which country the owner of the image belongs. Copyright law in India does not protect derivative works. So while you may be safe in India, the copyright owner of the image elsewhere outside India may sue you for infringement. But chances of that are very slim. So just remember that you do run that risk. Plus it's really not fair if you are using someone else's work and passing it off as your own albeit with edits.

No,Its not required.copyright gets created the moment work is created.Although if challenged then you need to prove that you were the original creator of the work in question.
