How can I protect the design of my website

I have developed a website. How can I register the website in my name? The design and concept of my website is new? How can I protect my website design and concept? And what will the cost incurred?
Artistic layout of your website can be protected under Copyright Act,. But you cannot get any protection over the concept or business ideas of your website, because as per Indian Laws no business idea can be protected per se.

You will have to register the domain name with a registrar. As a first step you will have to see whether the domain name you have chosen is available or not i.e. confirm it has not already been registered by somebody else. In India, there are several companies with whom you can register your domain name and the fees and process depends from company to company.
