Copying data to mobiles without license in cell shop

Respected Sir.My friend runs a cellshop.He is caught by police for copying songs to memorycards without license.The case is filed u/s 51,52,a r/w 63,65,68 of Copyright act 1957,along with rules 1958,international copyright Order 1999.case is under trail.please let us know how to get out of it.This type of case is first time came to hearing in this court so lawyers are not much aware of it.Thank You.
