What is the maximum compensation in consumer court against builder

As my house possession was delayed, I appointed a lawyer. As I had faith in law. I felt the consumer court would understand my sentiments. I asked for compensation of 11 lakhs + legal expenses +home possession. I received a letter from state consumer disputes redressal commission, Maharashtra, Mumbai Smt. Usha S Thakar. Presiding Judicial Member that claim of the complainant is below 20 lakhs hence it should be filed before learned district forum. My sentiments for my new house is million rupees. I m not happy as I had to file a compensation of 3lakhs only instead of 11 lakhs. I want to know how can I file a compensation of 11 lakh. The project name is sathyanagar, boisar, Maharashtra. The row house now cost Rs 13 lakhs around this value. I invested in 2009 and still no possession. Please advise. And the advice has to be in my favour not the builders favour who has committed a civil wrong

yes...hon state commission rightly advice you that your claim is below rs. 20 lakhs so you have to file your consumer complaint in thane consumer district redressal forum. you can also file a criminal case against that builder and teach a lesson to them
