What is the jurisdiction to file a consumer case

I live in Bangalore. Ordered an AC from Flipkart for my native house at Bankura Dist, West Bengal. I had to cancel becoz of excessive delay. I made online payment. I cancelled the order BEFORE TAKING THE DELIVERY. Now Flipkart is not refunding. Flipkart's regd off is at Bangalore. They do NOT have any establishment at the place of delivery i.e. at Bankura, West Bengal. Now for issues with Flipkart, where to approach? Consumer Forum at Bangalore or at the place of delivery? Can I file a suit for compensation even after refund, for harassing me? Now this is a very regular case with Flipkart
Yes in this case jurisdiction is clearly at Bangalore , because deal and payment of money happened at Bangalore , yes if your advocate is enough smart he can first get your refund back and order where company is found to have done intentional negligence and against consumer act , hence compensation would be also given in satisfactory amount , in case difficulty approach our office .

Jurisdiction lies with your dist consumer forum because payment is made from your native place and order is also passed from there. Cause of action partly arisen from your city. Hence your dist., consumer forum has got jurisdiction to file consumer case

Bcoz normally any service provider will mention in the agreement that in the event of any disputes the place where the regd.office is situated there alone the jurisdiction will lie. So it is bettere to file a case in bangalore as flipkart has its regd.off.n bangalore.After refund you may not have a case.
