What are the chances to win consumer court complaint against telecom

25-Jun-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I Have a 4G Internet connection. I am experiencing very low speeds of internet despite paying bills within stipulated time. I have complained Customer care-Nodal office - Appellate in order to get this issue fixed. None of them have taken necessary steps. Moreover Airtel has violated telecom consumer complant redressal regulations, 2012 on multiple counts. (a) By not providing docket number to track in TRAI website (b)By not providing a solution within stipulated amount of time. With the above facts please guide me in below points. 1)What are the chances of winning the case.? [I have all the conversations with company recorded in email] 2)How many months it may take for the case to get disposed? 3)How much compensation i can reasonable claim with quoting below points? (a)Mental agony and frustration (b)bill repayment (c)I have received email by my manager in company stating that they are not giving salary increase because i am taking more time on simple task(i work from home). What should I do?

The outcome of any legal battle cannot be predicted as to in how much time will the case be disposed etc etc. thus, you will have to engage a local lawyer and thereby file a complaint in the consumer redressal forum for deficiency in services under section 2(1)(g) of Consumer Protection Act.

Sir/Madam,
1. In my opinion since you have recorded evidence of all the correspondence, you have a relatively strong case and we can take a chance by sending them one final notice stating that we will go to Consumer Forum. We have to see their response and then file the matter and consequently ensure that the matter is admitted by the Consumer Court. I cannot guarantee that you will win the matter but as stated earlier you have a relatively strong case,

2. The matter may take anywhere between nine months to three or more years.

3. The amount you can claim has to be clearly quantified in concrete figures but the Court Fees are reasonable.
