Want to cancel the booking of a flat how can I get refund

seeking advise on following issue booked a flat year ago,want to cancel it now due to builder is making initial delay,not sure whether he will deliver flat on time. commitment from builder : initial delay will not hamper possession date (received through mail communication) background: paid 8 laks so far paid by cheque. agreement not done. application form says: on cancellation 1 lakh booking amount shall be deducted and remaining amount will refunded within 12 months after flat is reopen for sale and sold. what are my legal stands to get full refund or remaining amount early
We suggest you to approach the concerned Consumer Forum to seek refund in such a case. you may Before approaching the Consumer Forum, you may issue a legal notice to the Builder through an Advocate.
