Unreasonable Delay in possession of flat what action can I take

I have purchased a residential flat from builder in redevelopment Society at Dahisar mumbai area . The Said building was plan to built for 7 storey & at time of purchase in December 2013, the 5th floor was about to complete and he promised date of possession in agreement is October 2014. However, since one & half year the work is on halt & even 5th floor is not completed. While scrutinising matter we understand that captioned builder got some project in dehradhun. Inspire our repeated request on call for meeting, he never turned up. We've requested for refund but all effort in vein. Pls guid

It is often seen that Builders used to delay possession of the flat. usually not giving possession within the time period specified in the agreements is termed as 'Delay'. you can approach to the Consumer Forum for the proper and effective remedy which is time saving, speedy and cost effective. you can get the possession as well as compensation for the same from Consumer Forum.
