Society chairperson threatening to file case, maintenance already paid

CIVIL Harrassment Apartment chairperson threatning me to take action against me in case of maintenance amount not paid and making rumors among all society members that i haven't paid for last six month. In fact the amount was paid by me and shared the bank statment also. On whatsapp group she used absue words and unecessarily making issue.

If you have paid and you are having proof of it then no need to worry.
Your soc. Chairman can't do anything against you if you are right.
If he/she used abusive language against you and if you are having proof of it, then don't wait anymore and file written complaint against him/ her in local police station. Don't tolerate injustice and wrongful things.
Don't get afraid.
You should raise your voice against unlawful things and nonsense.

Your query does not fall under the Consumer Protection Act. To that effect you may approach the Join Registrar of Co-operative Societies or may file proceedings in the Co-operative Court. For the abusive language used by the person you may file a Complaint in the local police station U/s. 506 of IPC and as suggested by the Inspector of Police. I advise you make a NC Complaint against the person so as to keep record and evidence against the person ans you may able use it as and when necessary. I further advise to file proceedings in the Court for the threats given by the chairman and get the reliefs from the Court.
