Samsung provided different part for tv on service request raised

Hi All,
I had purchased Samsung LED TV and due to some damage on display I raised service request. Service person replaced display panel. We found out that model number of replaced part is different than the original part(damaged display panel). After following up multiple times with Samsung we are left with no other option. Can some one let us know about how to proceed. Samsung is claiming that the both the panel is for same TV then how come model number is different. As far as I understand model number, version, labeling is done on the product to identify the changes.
first send your complaint to the company either thru email or hard copy. Retain the same as evidence purpose. If they don't respond to it then ask your lawyer to send legal notice. You can directly approach to customer care and file your complaint or you can also take services of a lawyer for the same.

From an internet search, we have discovered that the model number of a spare part does not necessarily have to have the same model number as the original. There is usually a list of acceptable spare parts, accompanied by the number of such part, provided by the Company. Please check if the part replaced is on the list of approved parts. In the event that it is not, a consumer complaint may be filed.

Yes it is deficiency in services. A complaint can be filed under section 12 of consumer protection act. A complaint can be filed in the city from where u have purchased the article. But still if the product is ok and u are otherwise satisfied and the article is against proper company number then I feel u should not be worried.
