Poor services by web developer can I take action against them

Hi, I want a suggestion from u. The story is, I have hired a company to develop my website. He started, took 4 months, still pending and work is very poor.He crossed time as per contract. I think he doesn't have competent developers. He is just stalling me and extending the dates. Should I take any legal action or is there any other way. Please suggest...... Thanks.
The problem faced by you is deficiency of service on the part of web developer. You may sue the service provider for the same and get the a considerable amount as compensation. Just contact, the things will be taken forward soon.
