Online shopping at YesStyle.com, Demand of unreasonable documents

14-Oct-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)

I placed order to purchase some product from YesStyle.Com. Order no. 8500832 and made Payment through my net banking. The firm informed through email that I shall require sending them a KYC form duly filled along with IDs and one authorization form to receive the articles. It was informed that from 1st Sept 2014 KYC is mandatory and non-supply of documents shall lead to delay in delivery. During the order placement the firm did not disclose any such condition of submitting KYC and authorization letter. The firm has sent it back to Hongkong. What action can i take against them?

Have you written to them about this? Check out this URL taken from their website and report it to them.

Seems like a case of spam but I would really have to scrutinise the email to tell you for sure. Write to them on the email provided on their website and confirm whether it is necessary to fill the form etc.
