Is consumer law applicable in case of sale of second hand item

13-Jun-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I am the first hand owner of an out of warranty 2 year old water purifier that I intend to sell in 6 months as I would be leaving the country. It is in excellent condition - I just got the filters changed. Should I worry about any legalities that may arise say if someone falls ill by consuming water from the product?

For this you have to contact manufacturers or sellers of the product and lawyers are not expertise in technical issues like this. But still check with the seller and get educate about the same before selling it and try to sell genuine products if you are not in requirement and don't sell scrap.
