I have been cheated by an online dating site

The online dating site, freedomfriendship.com co-ordinates with the users via phone. Unlike traditional dating sites, this particular site (there are many other similar sites as well) doesn't have the profiles of users. They communicate through phone, ask money with the promise of giving contacts of matching ppl ( based on my requirement). Likewise, they dont even provide any written doc or e-receipt for the money taken. Even after transferring the money, I ended up in fake contact details. They have taken 15k from me. I have set of phone number of them and sms conversations for proof.
You can file suit in the district consumer court of your area and claim compensation. You can also file a criminal case under section 416 and 420 of IPC for cheating and misrepresentation.
