How to deal with cheating and fraud

10-Jun-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I have placed an order at a low price with snapdeal. This order is accepted and ready for dispatch at the status on their website. The seller send the product and collects the payment. This order is now cancelled by snapdeal. The product supplied is wrong and worthless. My 5000- rupees are now with whom? Snapdeal says we have cancelled the order. whereas the order was cancelled after delivery by the seller on 9.7.2017, Snapdeal customercare says that this happens that some scamster sells things at a very low price and then delivers directly and collects cash. Snapdeal says we can do nothing and it is the customers fault. Please help me with this cheat and fraudulent behaviour of snapdeal.

As you are dealing with snapdeal, you can file a consumer complaint against them in consumer court for default and defect in services. Even if snapdeal has no control, it is there duty to ensure that fake or scamster people do not put low price articles on there website or application. This menace has to be controlled from their end and they cannot evade responsibility. An action should be taken by you by filing case in district consumer court of your area.
