Hospital not refunding the money they promised to return through claim
21-May-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
My wife got discharged from Rangadore memorial hospital on 18th March 2016. I have paid complete amount at the time of discharge as hospital staff asked me to do so. Hospital also said once they receive the money from insurance they will refund the money. It has been 2 months and now still hospital are not providing the refund. When i check with my Insurance company they are saying they have not received the document to process the refund, When i check with hospital they are they have sent the document . Please assist .
Dear Sir, you have to write a letter to the said hospital to refund the amount which you have paid insurance etc., through registered post, and after one week they have not given any refund or satisfactory answer, thereafter you have to issued a legal notice through lawyer to the said hospital as well as insurance company and later forward the same into consumer court for compensation mental agony along with return of insurance money.

It appear that hospital has not forwarded the document to your insurance company and hence confusion , you need to get your document submitted and ask company to pay you directly as you have paid to hospital already . In case much difficulty you can take legal recourse or contact us .

You must go to the hospital and sit on thier head and be sure that they have sent the documents to the insurance company, if possible try to get it yourself and submit it to the insurance company. If you come to the conclusion that the hospital are not cooperating with u then send an Advocate notice to the Hospital as well as insurance company and seek for speedy redressal failing wherein you inform that you will file a consumer compliant seeking compensation, mental agony and deficiency of services.
