Delay in fine to be paid as ordered by consumer court

24-Mar-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
Due to some conflict, a client filed a case against me in consumer court. I was ordered to pay 5000 and give finalized videos out of which i delivered videos immediately but to financial issues i was not able to pay said amount in time. the order said i need to pay interest if i delay the payment. so if i pay now with interest it will close the issue?

You need to comply a court order completely. If court has ordered something along with fine, it need to be paid. As per your query, if now you pay fine along with accrued interest, there should not be any issue remained, if it was all you need to do as per Court's order.

Yes you have to pay ordered amount along with interest. If you will compensation along with interest then matter will be close.
If you will not pay amount then Hon'ble Consumer Forum may issue you warrants.
So I will advise you that kindly pay the amount as per direction of Forum.
