Company not responding after taking money

On the basis of advertisement in newspaper I have paid some amount to get job to consultation company .. now they are not responding what to do
According to consumer protection law you should file a petition for refund the money and compensation for the inaction by company while receiving money for the same as well as you should give a legal notice to company ,which should be thrown by a Consel.
