If there was deficiency of services from their part which lead to grave inconvenience to you then you have to first send them a legal notice stating all the facts and asking them to pay you back your money. If they don't respond or their response is not satisfactory then you may file in district consumer forum for claiming compensation.

you have not mentioned the details of agreement for coaching. we require to know about the terms applicable offer and promise, which the institute breach. because we have to established the breach of agreement and cheating for the purpose of initiating appropriate legal action. on prima facie as per your query it seems that they have cheated you, in that circumstances you can file a criminal complaint for breach of trust and cheating. and pls also we require the schedule of payment of coaching fees and total fee for course offered.

send a legal notice to the coaching institute and then file a consumer case if needed, legal notice in some cases can resolve the dispute and you may get the refund, if still you do not get the refund the consumer case will be the only way out.

You will need to file a claim with the district consumer forum to recover the amounts. Further, you may additionally file a complaint in writing with your local police station. You may then attempt to settle the issue with the institute as litigation can be a time consuming process.
