Car warranty claim issue company not providing insurance

03-Oct-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
Sir, I own a Honda car and it had standard warranty for two years. 4 months back I had an issue with the steering rack that must be covered under warranty. I went to the servive center and reported the issue. They checked and said it was a minor complaint and they had done some lubrication to it. My warranty expired last month and I have the same steering problem right now. When I contacted the service people, they are now saying that some parts of the steering rack should be changed and I'd have to bear the full amount. My question is, as I had the issue and reported the same within the warranty period, isn't the the parts should be replaced free of cost.? The problem occured when the car was within warranty period. I think the honda people cheated me saying that they have resolved the problem just to get me end with the warranty period and forcing me to pay huge amount for it. Pls reply sir.

Dear Client,
If you are having the service entry of the same complaint on your book or any type of bills to prove this complaint, that occurred earlier in the warranty period. You can take up the matter to court and claim compensation and free service by proving the inherent complaint to the steering assembly. If you go to court , please get the vehicle checked by an expert commissioner appointed by the court this is highly necessary to prove your case.
Regards,
Sachin
