Car dealer not giving registration documents of vehicle

04-Jun-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
Puchased new car from dealer in my city. Payment receipts and Invoice of ex showroom on my name as per aadhar card given but they registered car in RTO on my fathers name instead of mine. Its mistake from dealer agent. They are also giving lot of trouble to hand over other documents such as road tax receipt and insurance policy copy and we are calling them every time for follow up but they are having excuses all time. The registration details were also taken out by myself from RTO and dealer was saying that it has not yet been registered even after more than 2 weeks after purchase. Pls advise.

it certainly a good case of deficiency of services. You can file a consumer case against the dealer and can get compensation as well. First get all the ROT formalities completed without even hinting the dealer that you intends to initiate action against him. First get all the formalities completed and then file a case

Dear client send legal notice through lawyer and ask him to hand over all documents. If dealer not act per notice then file case in consumer court for deficiency in service against him. For any legal help call me
