Can legal action be taken on posting of complaint on online forums

with a real estate company refund issue was there and so online complaint was lodged in many internet forums.Now receiving email from director of this company to withdraw online complaints else will take legal action. Query is can legal action be taken on posting of complaint in online forums Also insisting to come to office and sign cancellation letter for refund when cancellation letter has already been sent through courier.

If you are posting a genuine complaint with true facts with no vulgar language and baseless accusations then no legal actions can be taken against you. In other circumstances you may be prosecuted for defamation if you make false statements which are slanderous. You should approach the CREDAI to resolve the dispute. A complaint can be filed online with the CREDIA to initiate mediation proceedings. You may also approach the consumer courts if you are serious about your complaint.
