Can i claim compensation from airtel digital for breaking my led tv..?

I purchased airtel digital t.v set top box in august...the representative from airtel while installing the set top box to my t.v mishandled with my t.v and thereby damaged it. The repair of my t.v is costing me rs 25000. I have complained to the manager of airtel digital tv and has written several mails to the company but no one has resolved my problem so far..
Can i claim compensation and damages from them under consumer protection act..?
