Cable Tv charges varies different area with same cable operator

I have cable tv connection. Cable TV Operator charges varies different area with same cable TV Operator. When I have discussed with Operator, they said that, if competitor is there in local area, the charge will be less, if there is no competitor they keep on increasing cable TV charges. But they are not increasing in competitor area. So I need legal suggestions from your end. I hope, I will get good suggestions from your end.

The cable TV operators cannot charge different rates from different customers. You can warn them about this if they do not bother, you may move the local body which is governing the licence or permission with the complaint in this regard or with the evidence you can move consumer forum too for this irregularity.
