Buying a land but RTC records reflects name of old owner how to verify

Sir we r buying 3*40 site in Electronic City hulimangala but in Rtc my owner name is not reflecting who bought agriculture land from a person instead it reflect the name of old owner name only and this old owners where in Joint development agreement to develop as a layout and later the new owner only purchased the land but it reflects old owner name in RTC but land s divided into revenue sites n sold by new owners n we r buying resale revenue site of same servey num but it reflect with old owner name.pls tell me is that s a problem in future?
