Builder delayed possession now sold property to another builder

I have buyed a flat in 2007 but builder delayed the construction, so I filed a case in civil court Maharashtra but have filed after 5 years of registration ,each time I was getting dates as builder didn't appeared ,he filed an answer that he have sold or transfered power of attorney to another builder and also stated that I am not willing to give money, another builder is now constructing flats and asks for double money if I want possession What to do ? I am getting dates from last 4years

As per your query it seems the builder from whom you have purchased the flat has sold the project to another builder who is now asking additional amount from you for the flat you have purchased. Also you have filed a civil suit for enforcing your rights in respect of the said flat, however civil suits make take upto a period of 10-15 years for determination. It is advisable you send a legal notice to both the developers for seeking possession of flat and thereafter file a consumer complaint impleading both the builders as party and seek possession of your flat along with damages.
