Brought shoes which were defected but now company is not giving refund

I bought bata shoes from the local show room and i found defect in shoes further i told to exchange them on the assistance, they offered me a shoe of Rs.2800 again i m facing the same problem right now, i want the refund. but they are ignoring me and my complaint what should i do?
You can send a legal notice to the company thereby asking them to refund the money and pay compensation. Despite the legal notice if they fail to refund the money, then you can file a case before the consumer forum.
