Booked Flat and now the builder is in Jail

Hello I had booked a flat in prelaunch offer with builder and paid 43% of down payment. But builder not even registered land and it happened for so many projects under same construction. Now all board of director are arrested after so many victims had filled a case against them. Now case is handled by CID. Till now i have not cancelled or filled any case. Some victims have formed association and they are filing a single case in association name. So Please suggest whether i can join association or i have to file case individually against builder to get refund of my hard earned money? Your advice will be more helpful for me to proceed further. How much time it will take to get the refund if we go legally?

Please file a consumer case and also file a private complaint against the such builder for cheating you. Under consumer law you can get back your amount along with interest and also file a complaint that they should not escape from the liability. Please proceed.

You are speaking about Sachin Naik and Mandeep Kaur. if you believe the leadership of Association you can go ahead with joining them. I have three clients and they are planning to file seperate cases. You can also join them, they are also in a whatsapp group I think.
