Booked a flat now not wiling to proceed further what action to take?

I booked a flat through a promoter. I paid 20% advance and my loan was also sanctioned by the bank. Now there are no further booking. I am not wiling to go further with the booking. What action can i take now?

There must be a builder buyer agreement as per which you have paid an advance and within that agreement there is a clause to cancel the booking.
Generally the trend is that the booking is cancelled after deducting some amount from the booking amount.
If the builder is not refunding the amount then, a legal notice can be sent through an advocate for refund within stipulated time, failing to do so you can lodge a complain in the consumer court for the recovery of the amount.
