Bill paid in cash company claiming for money what should I do

I bought a motorbike from a showroom. After six month I get a call from showroom and they told me for payment about the dues amount . But actually I am bought motor bike in cash. After that they send a leagle notice by his advocate for the payment of dues amount. And they enclose a computerised tally ledger sheet and told me for dues amount such a rupees twenty thousand. I request you pls suggest me what kind I could be take a leagle action on showroom?

in this case you can hire a good lawyer and draft a reply to their notice. in reply you can raise your contentions that you have already paid the money. you can also present the receipt of the payment which you did in cash. however you can make that payment disputed and take the matter to the consumer court.

Don't you have any documents pertaining to the payment that was made by you? Any receipt? then send a reply to the legal notice attaching a copy of the receipt and telling them that you have already made payment and that there are no more dues.
