Bank troubling me with change in services what action can I take

Hi, I have opend ING Vysya bank account when i have in the job it was salary account i have resigned in 2014 and i have worked for two years. I have the company and they have converted into the saving account and charing annual charges. Now bank is saying need to pay overdraft money of Rs 4500/-, i have sent lots of mail to close my account but they are not doing my needful. already i have spoke with customer care at my home branch but you need to pay full amount can what can i do without paying money to close my account immediatly please suggest me.

Have they sent any notice before converting your account to saving account? if not you can file a Consumer Case against the Bank Authorities for deficiency of service etc., by filing all the copies of mails etc., in support of your case.
