Bank issued wrong credit card statements can I file case against them

Total purchases done though Credit Card is mismatching with the sum of all purchases in my statements. i called to customer care and they accepted their mistake and they are solving this issue. i want to file a case and i have an evidence regarding standard charter mistake. can we do anything on this.
