Amazon cancelled order after 7 days what can be done
19-Oct-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I placed an order with amazon.in on 13oct and paid by net banking. It showed that the item will be delivered from 19 to 24 october but on 19 the seller sent me a mail that he can't ship the item. I asked the customer care and they said that they will pay me 100 rs penalty but i want my product on 21oct at last instead of those 100 rs. I want to approach consumer court and Sue then what i should do
There may be a terms and consumer clause in their website, which protects them from delivery based discrapancies. However, if the goods nature is of perishable or usage is occasion specific than you may sue them. Beside this if they are denying availability after contract, go forward to sue them withou second thought.
Sir there is a deficiency of service for sure and you can sue them, but you have to check the policy to which the customer agrees before placing an order online or otherwise. Plus the loss caused to you will be determined after the nature of goods and its urgency is determined.
Hi,
You can approach the consumer forum with your complaint regarding the same. Products need to be delivered within the promised time, however, if the delivery of the product has affected you in any way, whether in terms of financial or other losses, you shall be compensated well enough by the consumer forum.
Let me know if i can be of any further assistance.
Kind Regards.

It seems that you have got your product within the period range, it was ought to be, probably therefore, no penalty was paid. Had the product been received by you after due date of delivery, penalty must have been paid. However, if you have any written mail of company for paying Rs.100/- penalty or any recorded conversation, it can be gone through and needful be suggested accordingly.
