Airtel still charging me for set off box which discontinued.

13-Oct-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)

I have taken two connection with airtel (one antenna with two set off box). I have suspended the second account, still for the last three months, the amount paid for the primary account was distributed for the second account also. Later after conversation the airtel digital employees asked to return back the second set -off box. Even after returning, they are charging both the account. Can I sue the airtel digital tv?

Hi,

Going by what you have shared herein, it is advised that you can sue the Airtel company for the blunder and fault caused by them to you and can claim refund and compensation

First of all, it's Set Top Box not set off box. Secondly, There is no need to sue for such a small thing. Have you tried filing a proper complaint with them? If no, then write a detailed one. Keep quoting the complaint reference number. If the amount is too much then file a consumer complaint in your local district consumer forum after doing the above. I am telling you to write a written complaint so that you have documents to show that you wrote to them to request them to rectify the issue but they did not.
