will non petitioner get benefited by a mercy petition

Respected sir/mam
if a particular group(of college batchmates) is filing a mercy petition in supreme court and they win the case in there favour then only that particular group whose name was there will be benefited or others(rest of the batchmates whose name was not there in petition) with same case scenario will also get benefited no matter they have filed the case or there name is mentioned in the petition or not..
As the query is specific and supreme Court while passing orders don't leave the space to draw any conclusion, the bare reading of the order/judgment pass will make clear that other will get benefit of that judgement or not. Please provide me with judgement than I will be in a position to respond this query.
