Can a Hindu boy and Christian girl get their marriage solemnised by a Christian marriage registrar under Indian Christian Marriage Act? Will they still follow their religion or will the boy convert to Christian.

Dear Sirs,

As per Section 4 of Indian Christian marriage act 1872 :

It is left to tour choice whether to follow the Christian religion after the marriage.

Unless and until there is no valid conversion though the marriage solemnised as per Christianity bride and bride groom are at liberty to follow their custom are relegion.
Without conversion to Christianity the marriage cannot be registered under Indian Christian marriage act to register marriage under this Act both shall be Christians
So still they can follow their relegion

The hindu boy has to convert into Christian and then he can get married under Christian marriage, it is better if the marriage is performed under special marriage act as it would be more suitable and easy.

It needs to be done through special marriage act as the religion of both differs. Conversion to any religion is up to the individual. However both of you are bound by the Indian Succession Act for all property issues and special marriage act for all marriage related issues.
