What action to be taken against licensee

08-Jun-2023 (In Civil Law)
Sir, I am the land owner and we were given the shop on rent and execute the leave and license agreement. But before expirty of agreement the licensee left the shop. Now its stocks are lying with us. Now we want to give the said shops with other persons. In this situation what action we can take against the licensee. We can dispose of their stocks or not.

HI,
In such situation you have to make sure if goods/ stocks are not perishable, you wait for reasonable time period before disposing them off. Reasonable time period can be stated as which any rational and prudent person will wait. If goods are perishable you can dispose it off early.
