University declared illegal by UGC,not granting degree, what to do

I have done my Btech in 2014 from a college located in Chennai, after joining college in 2010 and completion of 1 year they change the affiliation to some open university which is located in karnataka, in 2014 ugc dercognised the University and now the college is not issuing my degree certificate and making excuse and putting blame on University

There is remedy where in you can seek damages from the university.firstly issue a instant legal notice then file a suit for damages along with seeking performance of the standard protocol. Therefore this is the remedy which is available rest can be discussed in detail once you contact thanks.

You can get original certificate if genuine & standing in your name on bond after verification on condition that you will produce the same in the court if so required but you will face the trial as you have committed offence u/s 419 IPC.

you can file case against the university based on broacher etc and even complain about it to UGC
you can also invoke consumer protection. try sending legal notice. If the college is still offering same course and has some affiliation they must give you degree or else you can sue them for compensation
