Summons letter issued for pending payments after paying loan what happ

13-May-2023 (In Civil Law)
My brother took some personal loan in 2014 and I reckon he still needs to pay about half of it back. He received a summons letter (I believe that's whats its called) to appear before chief metropolitan magistrate next month. If he pays back the remaining amount on his loan now, does he still need to appear in front of chief metropolitan magistrate? What are our options

You can make payment on confirmation of withdrawal of the case from the court from your financial institute and it's better to appear personally if not possible through advocate to bring into the facts to the court to avoid future ambiguity. Contact us we guide you what is the procedure

Pay & obtain NO DUE CERTIFICATE from Bank and produce it before Hon'bleCourt on date of hearing through in person/Advocate for disposal of case OR Plaintiff can file a Memo for not pressing the suit.

Sir it is better he appears before the court and see what amount is payable negotiate the amount and settle the matter and see that the case is withdrawn, and if you pay outside court still they may not withdraw the case and demand some more amount.
