Someone has registered my mobile number with call spammers

Hi, Someone I know is pestering me. He has registered my mobile number on numerous sites - Hospitals, packers and movers, property dealers, saloons etc. I have been getting numerous calls throughout the day since last 5-6 days. What steps I can take against him please ?.
File a police complaint regarding this in the concerned police station against unknown persons.
